Data Centers Won't Increase Your Bill
We require data centers to pay for the power and energy system upgrades they need, so costs are not shifted to existing customers.
Growth Benefits Our Customers
In addition to paying for any new energy infrastructure they need, when data centers are added to the grid, they contribute to the fixed costs of running and maintaining the grid, spreading out those costs and helping keep energy bills lower for everyone.
Accelerating Clean Energy
Many data center projects fund investments in wind, solar and innovative new technologies to add clean energy to the grid.
The proposed Google data center project in Pine Island, Minnesota, provides an example of how, with our customer protections in place, data centers can drive economic growth with long-term benefits for residents and communities.
